Zhejiang intelligent networked car test release, how close is autonomous driving to us?
Recently, during the 2019 Global Future Mobility Conference, the closed test site for intelligent and connected vehicles in Deqing, Zhejiang was officially launched. At the same time, Deqing County issued a total of 7 autonomous driving open road test licenses and 2 intelligent network (logistics) vehicle road transportation business licenses. This means that the scope of autonomous driving testing is gradually expanding, and with the operation of compliance and commercialization, autonomous driving is about to enter our lives.
The seven companies that have obtained autonomous driving open road test licenses are Ningbo Geely Automobile Research and Development Co., Ltd., Shanghai Weilai Automobile Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Leapao Technology Co., Ltd. and other companies. It is worth noting that this is the second driverless open road test license that Leapmotor has obtained.
At present, if a domestic vehicle company wants to apply for an unmanned road test license, the test vehicle and the safety officer must carry out daily training in a closed test field of more than 5,000 kilometers, and more than 50 hours of training, but also in the virtual test system. Test and submit massive amounts of simulated data.
The Deqing Intelligent Connected Vehicle Test Site is the first city-level autonomous driving test area open to the whole county in the country. Coverage, the intelligent road mileage in 2020 will not be less than 100 kilometers, and meet the charging needs of various electric vehicles and the large-scale charging needs of test vehicles.
The test area will provide real road, traffic, communication, community, user and other scenarios, and carry out demonstration applications in more than 10 specific scenarios such as smart public transportation, smart parking, unmanned logistics, and L4 autonomous driving online car-hailing. In order to build a domestic autonomous driving and smart travel industry cluster, Deqing County initiated the establishment of a smart travel industry fund with a total scale of not less than 5 billion yuan.
